What is the difference between backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity?

What are RTO and RPO, and why do they matter?
Recovery time objective (RTO) is how quickly you need to be back online. Recovery point objective (RPO) is how much data you can afford to lose, measured in time. We set realistic targets for each critical system so recovery is planned, not guessed.
How do you protect backups against ransomware?
